On the last weekend of August, from 27–29 August, the eleventh Aparaaditehas Festival will bring Aparaaditehas and the entire Kastani–Filosoofi quarter together for three days. The festival programme stretches from the factory’s corridors and galleries to Kastani Street, Taskupark and the courtyards of the quarter, inviting visitors to discover art and music, join tours and workshops, browse markets and peek into places that are usually off limits.

Aparaaditehas is looking for a long-term ESC volunteer to work for 10 - 12 months .

Aparaaditehas can offer an interesting insight into the inner workings of a creative industries hub. No two days will be the same, and volunteer tasks will vary from helping out at the office, getting to know our tenants or working on our homepage. The volunteer will be provided training and instructions before starting a new task. The volunteer will gain new knowledge and get to practice their skills in a variety of different fields.

The first and only application round for the Aparaaditehas Culture Platform for 2026 is now open. The Aparaaditehas Culture Platform will begin its seventh season in 2026, inviting young creative people to implement fresh, bold and unique cultural projects. Over the six years of its operation, 36 very diverse events and creative projects have been implemented within the framework of the cultural platform, and nearly 100 young creators have gained momentum. Creative cooperation with many of them has continued even after the end of their projects.
