Maalikunstnik Edgar Tedresaar has set up his studio in one of the third-floor ateliers in the fifth building. Despite the smaller space and the canvas paintings hanging on the walls, one could never guess that Edgar's hand has been involved in several large-scale outdoor murals in Tartu. And it's not just in Tartu, as Edgar's brushstrokes can be found on the largest mural in the Baltic states, "Ülemiste Girl," located in Ülemiste City. Edgar himself describes himself as an artist with two poles within him. One part seeks inspiration from the inner world of humans, while the other is fascinated by the rational world of machines, based on systematic and geometric principles.
