WORKSHOP // Experimental Anthotype Workshop

  Did you know that you can develop images with plant juices? For this, you need to brush the liquid onto paper, then cover the paper with either dried flowers or objects and leave them in the Sun for a few hours!

 In our anthotype workshop we’re going to do just this with turmeric powder! In the beginning of this experimental workshop, we will cover the papers with turmeric solution, add our own composition and leave them in the community garden to “sunbathe”. Around 5pm you can come and pick up your works and see what has become of them! After that you also have the solution to tone them with soda.

 Experimental anthotype workshop takes place in TYPA on the 18th of July at 12:00! Once we have set everything up, we will take a few hour break and pick our works back up at around 5pm.

Workshop schedule:
12.00 - 13.00: Making the solution, preparing the papers, making the design
13.00 - 17.00: Exposing in the sunlight (no presence needed)
17.00 - 17:30: Picking up the works, toning them

 The participation fee is 5 euros.
