On June 7th, we will teach you, how to turn a pile of trash paper, cardboard, some yarn, and glue into a beautiful notebook!


Bookbinding is an ancient art, that has played an essential role in spreading literacy to the masses. In today's age, you can buy a hard cover book from every mall. A notebook that you made yourself, though, is something different, something personal and unique.
Learn how to make a hardcover notebook almost entirely out of recycled materials!


The workshop will cover:
* Necessary materials
* Methods for pressing the paper
* Common errors
* Stitching the signatures
* Making the covers
During the workshop each participant will make their own notebook.
