OPEN CULTURE PLATFORM // COMPOSITION dance film exhibition and performance "quintessence"

COMPOSITION (consisting of Eva Metspalu, Eveli Ojasaar, Elina Ojasaar, Mariann Onkel, and Roosmarii Sarapuu) opens the dance film exhibition "Quintessence" during the first week of August, from 1st to 6th.

The club Gutenberg, located in the Aparaaditehas, will serve as a cinema for this week. The exhibition will be open every day from 11:00 to 20:00.

On the evenings of August 1st, 3rd, and 4th, at 19:00, the performance with the same name will be presented. With their dance artistic approach, COMPOSITION strives for magical realism. The novella collection of the exhibition's films will blend together, the films will break free from the screen, creating absurd meeting places, twisting seemingly ordinary situations into the bizarre, and the characters will find themselves in different parallel worlds, achieving harmony in chaos and tearing it apart again.

Admission to the exhibition and performance is free.

Duration of the performance: ~40 minutes.
