On May 28 at 18:00, the presentation of the contemporary photography publication "LOVE IS ON DIESEL" will take place at Kogo gallery. This is the second publication of starter-KIT publishing house.

starter-KIT is a unique collective collection, the aim of which is to publish ten photography "yearbooks" that would illustrate the versatility of photography and the attitudes and thoughts of young artists over the course of a decade. The publication stores, archives, distributes and makes local photographic art more accessible both here and abroad.

Every year, the starter-KIT team asks ten young artists/collectives associated with camera culture to create a six-page series. The series focuses on an ambivalent, yet contemporary, theme. The theme for 2025 is "LOVE IS ON DIESEL". In addition, the publication also includes essays on the topic.

The event is free and will be held in Estonian. Each book comes with a small surprise!
After the presentation, you can purchase the books, which will also be available at the Kogo gallery and Lugemiku's joint bookstore in the Kogo presentation room.
At the same time, Eike Eplik's solo exhibition "A Time When Everything Else Seems More Important" is open in another room, curated by Šelda Puķīte.

starter-KIT was initiated in 2023 by Kertu Rannula and Elo Vahtrik.
