EXHIBITION // ARTIST TALK "KERA" by artist Anna-Liisa Sääsk and curator Kerly Ritval

📌
On Wednesday 10 April at 19.00, an artist talk will take place at the Plantarium, where the exhibition of Georgian-inspired graphic art "KERA" will be explained by the author Anna-Liisa Sääsk and curator Kerly Ritval.
📌
In addition, a pop-up shop with the artist's work will be open, where you can find, among other things, postcards from the exhibition and the newly completed exhibition catalogue.
📌
A variety of beverages can also be purchased at the Plantarium.
We invite you to join us for a contemplative and enjoyable time amidst the cosiness and greenery of the Plantarium!

Fragment of a conversation about the creation of the work:
I sent a video to my family with the footage of cows walking around the village. They were enjoying the sunshine in the green squares, fluttering their long, wonderful eyelashes and nibbling leaves in the bushes. Then I found myself thinking that this is why there are always high fences around all the houses and plots. It's the other way round in Georgia - the animals live freely, walk where they like, and in the evenings they sneak back to their caravans.
It's the people who live in the 'cages' built to protect themselves. And that's how the world's happiest and tastiest cheese is made....
More on Wednesday!
