WORKSHOP // Microwave Studio: molten glass and ceramics

In collaboration with the SÕÕR test laboratory, the microwave studio is starting a series of workshops focusing on melting glass and firing ceramics in a microwave oven. The first workshop is: Microwave studio: molten glass and ceramics. The microwave oven as a powerful tool for creating designer jewelry, small ceramics and consumer items. Traditional firing in a ceramic oven takes hours, while you can see the result in a microwave oven within 5-30 minutes. In the workshops, we demonstrate different options and working methods: melting glass, firing ceramics, mixed media, using molds, working methods.
Time: March 19, 5:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Group size: up to 12 participants
Participation fee: 49 EUR/time or 4-time card 140 EUR
